Gaurav Dake completed his B. Sc. From Yogeshwari college (Ambajogai), under Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad. He then completed his M. Sc. From Swami Ramanand Tirth Marathwada University, Nanded in 2017. He joined IIT Bombay to pursue his Ph. D. under the supervision of Prof. K. P. Kaliappan in December 2018.

Sayyed Aftab Yusuf completed his MSc. in organic chemistry with first class from Pune University in 2005.
